The comedian also took a crack at predicting the National Team’s record in the group stages of the tournament. Ji Suk Jin, on the November 27 episode of Running Man, predicted Korea would defeat Uruguay 2-1, defeat Ghana, and lose to Portugal to advance into the round of 16.
Followers of the tournament will know that Korea ended up tieing Uruguay 0-0, losing to Ghana 2-3, and defeating Portugal 2-1 to advance. Ji Suk Jin’s prediction literally couldn’t have been more wrong, except for the fact that he did correctly predict Korea to advance.
Netizens couldn’t help but delight in Ji Suk Jin’s wrong predictions. Many netizens appreciated how on-brand the predictions were for the comedian, who is often portrayed on the show as being unlucky.
