Divorced Star Reveals Emotional Reason She Eats On The Bathroom Floor After Fans Express Concern

Her “unusual” habit was broadcast on a TV show.

For most people, the bathroom is not exactly a place to unwind with snacks, knitting needles, and a good book. So when vocalist LYn (Lyn) was seen spending her R&R time in the bathroom of her new home, even eating there with the toilet visible nearby, viewers naturally had questions. Now, the recently divorced star has explained that the unusual habit stems from an emotional place rather than a simple preference.

On June 9, 2026 (KST), Lyn appeared as a guest on SBS PowerFM’s Cultwo Show alongside singer Kim Soo Chan. During the broadcast, one listener asked her directly why she seemed to spend so much time in the bathroom. Lyn answered honestly, explaining that the bathroom gives her a sense of comfort.

It’s warm, but it’s also the narrowest space in the house. When I’m there, I feel at ease.

The singer also addressed concerns about cleanliness after viewers saw her eating and spending time in the bathroom. “A lot of people were worried about hygiene, but I clean the bathroom once a day,” Lyn said.

Of course, hygienically, it’s probably still dirty, but that place is comfortable for me. Emotionally, it’s comfortable. When a space is too wide, I feel like I might have something like a panic attack.

DJ Kim Tae Gyun sympathized with her, saying that he also feels comfortable when he spends time in the bathroom at home.

These comments followed her appearance on the June 7 episode of My Little Old Boy, where she revealed her life in the home she moved into after her divorce. During the broadcast, viewers were surprised to see Lyn eating snacks on the bathroom floor with the toilet visible nearby. She was also shown enjoying hobbies in the bathroom, including knitting and reading, drawing even more attention to her unusual routine.

Meanwhile, Lyn married MC The Max vocalist Lee Soo in 2014. Last year, it was reported that the two had divorced by mutual agreement. They do not have any children together.
