Popular Idol’s Contract Notice Fuels Group Disbandment Fears
An update from an idol about her new contract has sparked fears of disbandment.

Currently, Kep1er is active under WakeOne and Klap Entertainment, following the extension of their original contracts. Their line-up has slightly changed, losing three members over the years, including Youngeun, who left in 2025.
Recently, it was announced that member Yujin signed with ELSE Entertainment.
Naturally, this update brought about fears that the group is disbanding, as updates like this sometimes come before notice of a disbandment.
Oh, they are disbanding soon. Good for them, Klap and Wakeshit wasted the girls time with months of fansigns instead of promoting them. I just hope Hiyyih also finds a really good company and gets out of IST. https://t.co/XTAKmmHrDy

However, due to how the group was formed, it is not entirely surprising that Yujin signed a contact with a separate agency. Yujin was previously signed to Cube Entertainment, and other members of Kep1er have contracts elsewhere for their activities outside of the group.
Rather than showing concern that disbandment is coming, many are hopeful that Yujin’s solo activities will take stronger shape with new individual management.

There have currently been no official updates on the status of Kep1er’s contracts.
