Popular K-Pop Song Writer Reveals He Used To Make Money Translating Porn
K-Pop songwriter Kiggen (who has written for artists like Cross Gene and Block B) revealed he once translated Japanese porn for a living.
In a recent episode of Video Star, he first revealed that he was a third generation Japanese-Korean.
When he moved to Seoul, he had to look for a job for his livelihood, when luckily, someone in “audio entertainment” approached him and offered him a job.
Kiggen received a USB from them and found that it was loaded with pornographic videos.
The person told Kiggen that if he translated one video, he would pay him a certain amount of money.
He decided to translate them, in which one video usually took about 10 minutes to fully translate.
On some days, he translated up to 20 videos in one sitting, but it took a toll on his mental state.
