He recently posted a series of stories on Instagram, reaffirming his dislike for the K-Pop industry as a whole, pointing out that it rips off Black art, is highly manufactured, and often victimizes its own artists with its absurd standards.

In another post, he wrote, “I mog CORTIS,” and proceeded to change his profile photo to that of Stray Kids member Hyunjin sporting an afro-style wig and a large red lip prop over his face. In the next story, he also posted a picture of Bangchan wearing cornrows, sarcastically hitting at the cultural appropriation and blackface committed by the idols.
