Roy Kim to take the stage with Taiwanese singer-songwriter William Wei at the “HITO Music Awards”

Singer Roy Kim will be attending the upcoming HITO Music Awards set to be held later this month, and it has been revealed he will be taking the stage during the event as well.

On May 31st, Roy Kim will collaborate with Mandopop singer-songwriter William Wei and will sing in Korean and Chinese respectively.

On the collaboration, Roy Kim said, “I’m nervous about taking the big stage with one of Taiwan’s best artists, but I’m working very hard. I hope to interact with more Chinese musicians through this opportunity.”

William Wei is said to have practiced very hard for this upcoming collaboration as well, a month before the actual stage. His staff revealed that he has been singing Roy Kim’s songs all day, whenever he gets the chance – even his staff know the Korean artist’s songs by heart.

The Taiwanese artist further gave praise to Roy Kim, saying, “Roy Kim is very talented in singing and has great musical abilities. I envied him when he performed with Jason Mraz.”

William Wei is recognized as one of Taiwan’s most talented singer-songwriters, winning “Best Male Singer” at the 26th Golden Melody Awards.
