Tao asks fans to look forward to EXO in 2015 at "Miguhui Awards"

On December 13th, EXO attended the 8th Annual Miguhui Awards, held in Shenzhen, China, as a ten-member group, accepting two trophies for the night!

Although it was an awards ceremony mainly focused on Mandopop, thus inviting numerous Chinese and Taiwanese artists, EXO also had the honor to grace the red carpet and perform at the show. More than 20 awards were given out on that night, with EXO themselves claiming the “Asia Most Popular Group” and “Best Performance” awards.

In particular, while Tao was speculated to be the next member to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment, he gave his speech in Mandarin when they were presented the “Best Performance” award. “As a Chinese member of EXO, I feel very honored that we are given this award. We are also thankful that Migu Wireless Awards is giving us this award. EXO will work even harder in future and bring better music and albums, and meet everyone with a new appearance in 2015. I hope that everyone can give a lot of support and love to EXO. Thank you, I love you all!”

Before this, EXO had already won themselves a total of four awards in 2014 MAMA, including two big awards “Singer of the Year” and “Album of the Year,” alongside “Best Male Group” and “Best Asian Style,” showing their significance in sweeping awards across Korea and China.

G.E.M (Deng Ziqi), a veteran singer based in Hong Kong, even took the opportunity to specially visit EXO in their waiting room backstage.

Meanwhile, EXO is currently preparing for a early 2015 comeback, as Suho and Baekhyun stepped down from their MC roles on SBS Inkigayo today.
