TWICE’s Nayeon Rumored To Leave JYP Entertainment
After weeks of reports and rumors surrounding TWICE‘s contract renewals, Nayeon has become the latest member to spark speculation about her future with JYP Entertainment.
The concerns started after Nayeon’s mother shared an emotional message following the group’s successful conclusion of their “THIS IS FOR” world tour.
“This is when Mom got emotional.
It’s been around 20 years altogether — 11 years with TWICE, plus your trainee days. You poured your entire youth and your dreams into this place.
Seeing everything you achieved here, how could I not cry?
TWICE has been recognized by the amazing ONCEs, and even the parents know what you’ve accomplished. Now it’s finally time for you to receive the treatment and recognition you truly deserve.
All nine members of TWICE have earned it.”

While the post never mentioned JYP Entertainment directly, many fans focused on two particular lines: “You poured your entire youth and your dreams into this place,” and “Now it’s finally time for you to receive the treatment and recognition you truly deserve.”
Those comments quickly fueled speculation that Nayeon could be considering moving at least her solo activities to a different agency while continuing to promote with TWICE.
The timing has only added to the rumors. TWICE is currently in the middle of contract renewal discussions, and several members have already been linked to possible departures from JYP.

Earlier this week, reports claimed Tzuyu had decided not to renew her exclusive contract with JYP while remaining a member of TWICE. Separate reports have also claimed that Jihyo is expected to leave JYP and establish her own one-person agency for her solo career. Meanwhile, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung have also been the subject of transfer rumors as fans await news about the group’s future.
JYP has not confirmed any of those reports and has maintained that renewal discussions are still ongoing.
