Video Clip Of Popular Actor’s Remarks Resurfaces Following Tax Evasion Controversy
Amid the recent buzz surrounding actor Ji Chang Wook being levied with billions of won in back taxes, his remarks on money from past shows resurfaced online.

Last month, he appeared on Yoo Jae Suk’s YouTube series with the cast of the film, Colony.
While on the topic of stock investing, he shared an interesting perspective on asset management.
I’m interested in U.S. stocks these days. Isn’t the probability of me going bankrupt higher than a company going bankrupt? I think it’s safer to put my money in a smart CEO than keep it to myself.

He even shared his whimsical thoughts, which he thinks about every night. He confessed that when he can’t sleep, he “imagines becoming rich.” While the MCs stated that he’s already wealthy, Ji Chang Wook replied, “I want to be a billionaire.”
However, when actress Jun Ji Hyun asked what the ending for his fantasy was, he replied, “Nothing. I was just happy.”

When asked what he would do if he really became a billionaire, he gave an unexpected answer: “I would build a village.”
But contrary to his fun responses, he recently faced a tax evasion controversy after news broke that he had been assessed back taxes amounting to billions following an intensive tax audit.
