YG Apologizes To WINNER Fans And Fires Staff Responsible For Playing iKON Video At Concert
WINNER fans were upset when a video clip of iKON played in the back during WINNER’s concert in Kuala Lumpur. The fans began trending a hashtag, demanding YG Entertainment to apologize.

As a response to the fans’ demands, YG Entertainment’s Director of Live Performance Department issued an official apology on behalf of YG Entertainment.
“On behalf of YG Entertainment, I’d like to take a moment to express my sincere apology for the inceident on last weekend’s ‘WINNER 2018 EVERYWHERE TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR’.
During the concert in Kuala Lumpur, one of our operating staffs made a huge mistake of playing a wrong VCR and music. This should not have happened and cannot be ignored.”

They also revealed that the staff responsible for the mistake was fired from the remaining concert tours.
“Everyone at YG dealt with the matter very seriously. The operator has been removed from all the remaining tours [sic] and we made sure to go over all the programming once more.”
