Yoo Jae Suk Reveals His Worries About His New TV Program “Busted!”
At the recent press conference for Netflix’s original variety show Busted, Yoo Jae Suk discussed why he chose Busted and how he feels about the upcoming premiere of the show.
“I look forward to the global premiere of this new style of TV show. I’m nervous, but at the same time, I’m excited about how meaningful this is. It’s a challenge for me and I find a lot of meaning in that.” — Yoo Jae Suk
He believed Busted will set itself apart from most of the variety shows he has done for the past decade. He explained, “I didn’t know how I felt about doing a show that is in the format of what’s already popular.”
“I think Busted is very different in style in some ways, but also familiar like the older variety shows too. That’s why I chose to take part in the show. I wish Busted will open doors for a whole new level of fun TV program styles and genres to be produced. I’ve done a lot of TV shows, but I found Busted refreshing and new.” — Yoo Jae Suk
Yoo Jae Suk also shared his concern about the show having a worldwide audience, on a scale he has never dealt with before.
“I’m really nervous and anxious about the worldwide premiere of Busted. I know a lot of viewers are looking forward to the show and there has been so much anticipation building up. So I’m worried that it won’t be good enough to meet up to those expectations.” — Yoo Jae Suk
At the same time, Yoo Jae Suk showed confidence in the cast and content of the show.
“I have faith the show will do well. I haven’t been able to see the final version yet myself, and I really look forward to it too. I hope everyone enjoys!” — Yoo Jae Suk
Busted is a mystery problem-solving show featuring seven celebrity “detectives” who will work together each week to figure out crime cases happening around them!
The show is scheduled for two episodes per week, with ten episodes to be produced and available on Netflix starting May 4.
