MBC revealed that they would hold the event ‘untact’ to prevent the spread of COVID-19. “Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we will be holding this event without an audience. Thus, the usual direct meeting between artist and fans will not be taking place this year. Instead, we will be looking for ways to have interaction with each other in a safe way.”

They added that they would take the proper steps in making sure that there is medical care and devices on hand. “During our preparation, we will make sure to have proper social distancing between the players and have medical staff and other devices on hand.”

In order to reduce the amount of contact between players, they will also prepare new categories that will not require a lot of interaction. “This year, sports that don’t require a lot of contact such as archery and e-sports will continue as usual. We will also create new sports that will minimize the contact between players.”

MBC promised to work hard to make a safe environment for all the players for this year’s event.

Through thorough prevention management, we will do our best to ensure that the safety of the performers and staff is our top priority and that everyone can play in a safe environment.
