Aespa’s Karina Couldn’t Stop Thinking About One Iconic Show While Visiting New York City
Aespa recently visited New York City to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Karina couldn’t stop thinking about one of her favorite TV shows while she was there!
The group performed their smash hit “Savage” at the parade, and all the members did great!
While in New York for the parade, aespa appeared on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. In their segment, they were given a tour of New York City by Roy Wood, Jr., the Daily Show‘s correspondent. During their tour, Roy Wood, Jr. jokingly said “I think that’s where Gossip Girl lives” while pointing up at an apartment building.
Karina immediately responded “Gossip Girl?!”
Karina mentioned the hit teen drama once again while filming a video called “24 Hours with aespa” for Vogue‘s YouTube channel. The group was eating brunch at Maman SoHo, and they talked about what they thought about New York so far while they ate.
Karina said she had grown up seeing New York in television shows and movies, and she had always wanted to visit.
She said she’d seen the city on Gossip Girl, and New York was really just like what she’d seen on the hit show about wealthy New York teens!
