BTS's Interaction With A Korean Solider Reveals Their True Personalities

Whenever celebrities or everyday people meet BTS in person, no one has ever said a bad thing about them. A Korean soldier’s chance encounter with the group wasn’t an exception.

He recalled how the group treated him differently compared to other K-Pop idols he’d worked for.

Twitter user @MoonieJoonieee uploaded a tweet detailing her recent meeting with a male friend in Korea, who spent his mandatory military service working security at events. At one of those music festivals, he ended up meeting BTS.

A cute little story, I met a common friend in Seoul today, he told me that when he did his military service, he was stationed as security for events and festivals, and he met BTS when they were still rookies at a music festival where he was guarding the artist exit ++

Because the soldier was in charge of monitoring the exit for K-Pop idols, he noticed that many of them left without acknowledging the security staff’s presence. Although he brushed it off as the idols just being tired, one group showed their true colors. BTS didn’t hesitate to greet all the security who’d been working hard to protect them.

After the concert ended, the artists came through the exit, and they all ignored them, he thought okay we are just ordinary people and they are tired, but then the only ones who greeted them were BTS. They went up to him and the other guards, said “hello we are BTS” and waved ++

Ever since meeting BTS during his military service, the male friend hasn’t forgotten the humble interaction years later. He didn’t have to think twice about why the group has become so famous since then.

He said from that moment he thought wow these boys are such kind people, and now they’re so big and he fully understands why 🥺

The male friend even admitted that BTS’s kind personalities caused him to look them up afterward and become a longtime fan who adores Jin. One act of kindness can go a long way.
