Netizens claim Vernon’s success proves K-Pop will become more diversified with foreign talent
Following the debut of one of the first successful half-korean, half-caucasian rookies, netizens speculate K-Pop is beginning to change.
Vernon wasn’t the first ethnically-mixed idol to debut in K-Pop, however it’s been said that no other mixed idol has reached the sam level of success he has despite still being a rookie. Vernon’s popularity continues to grow, which specialists claim will further open the doors of K-Pop to foreign talent, and it’s expected that it’s only a matter of time before K-Pop becomes even more diversified, and entertainment companies will welcome ethnicities from all around the world into their trainee programs.
