Here’s the 1 difference between rookie and pro actors’ kiss scenes

Many actors have filmed multiple kiss scenes as part of their jobs, but the difference in kiss scenes between rookie and experienced actors is obvious.

Most actors have gone through several kiss scenes since their debut as many dramas include multiple kiss scenes, but not all kiss scenes are created equal. For the avid K-Drama viewer, it is easy to tell the difference between experienced and rookie actors by how they act in these scenes. Rookie actors who have not had many kiss scenes are often very awkward, while veteran actors tend to treat kiss scenes as if it’s business as usual (which, of course, it is).

In Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People, Yoon Kyun Sang and Chae Soo Bin had a kiss scene which took over 30 tries before they succeeded! It was said to be Chae Soo Bin’s first kiss ever filmed and Yoon Kyun Sang’s second kiss. The two actors had to plan deeply to figure out how they would shoot it so it wouldn’t look awkward.

In Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim, on the other hand, Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin shot a steamy kiss scene that looked natural and they were able to film it in one take. They even laughed it off at the end and acted indifferently. Both actors had filmed several kiss scenes from their previous dramas before, so this was nothing new for them.
