Going up some tough competitors and their seniors Epik High and Super Junior, popular male idol group BEAST took the win on the November 2nd episode of SBS Inkigayo.
With 10,206 points, BEAST accepted their 1st Inkigayo trophy, bringing up their total award wins for this week to four. Earlier this week, the group won first place on MBC Show Champion, KBS Music Bank, and MBC Music Core.
Doojoon began the winning speech, thanking fans and staff for the group’s win on Inkigayo, adding that it was not only them who had worked hard in preparation of this album, but others as well.
Dongwoon then takes the helm, commemorating the memory of the recently departed Shin Hae Chul, who died at the age of 46 years old on October 27th.
“I heard the sad news earlier this week. I grew up listening to the late Shin Hae Chul sunbaenim’s music. I was very sad to hear the news. We will protect the music he left behind. Rest in peace.”
