BTS impresses with their sophisticated and sultry dancing in their practice video for “Blood Sweat & Tears”.
Cameramen are notorious for providing questionable footage. Random members receive close ups or different angles replace the more important group shot. This dance practice video provided a perfect view of all 7 members.
BTS is praised for their synchronized dancing, meeting expectations for this comeback. The practice room is distraction-free, allowing the choreography’s subtle moves to shine. During J-Hope’s line “drinking a whiskey called you“, the group raised their arms in a toast and drank.
The group’s athleticism is noticeable as handstands and elaborate jumps are incorporated. “Blood Sweat & Tears” does not lack artistic elements either. Jin walks away from a makeshift gate upon realizing he “can’t resist it anyway. Can’t even run away anymore.”
As BTS matures with their songs, their dancing grows as well. Their choreography now includes hip thrusts, body caresses, and shirt flapping.
