SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu Reveals Why His Fan-Favorite Instagram Post Is Gone
SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu is notorious for his Instagram posts, as they are constantly made viral by fans. One post, in particular, was a fan favorite for many weeks and amassed hundreds of thousands of likes and retweets when reposted on Twitter. The post was a photo of two four-square photo-booth pictures, both containing SEVENTEEN members kissing each other’s cheeks.
Mingyu eventually removed these photos from his Instagram account, and fans were left wondering why their favorite SEVENTEEN moment was erased from the internet! Luckily for Carats, they didn’t have to keep questioning Mingyu’s motives for long, as he revealed on a Weverse Live the reason why the post was removed.
During his Weverse Live, a fan asked, “Are the four kiss cut photos gone from Instagram forever?” to which he replied with his true feelings on the photos:
I posted those photos because I really liked them. They are really overflowing with love and I thought Carats would like them. But, you know, if you drink you’d feel embarrassed the next day from your actions, and seeing the photos…I felt a bit embarrassed.
Mingyu also went on to express that while the photos aren’t on his Instagram feed anymore, they are in his archived photos, so they aren’t completely gone! He also made sure to let Carats know that since they have the screenshots, he is fine with them still being shared among Carats since they loved the photos so much!
