Cafe Owner’s Apology To NCT DREAM’s Chenle Only Adds More Fuel To The Fire
Recently, a birthday cafe event for NCT DREAM’s Chenle was hit with backlash online after the cafe owner scammed the idol into paying more for prepaid drinks for the fans.
Most recently, the event organizer posted a message online after contacting the cafe owner.
“Hello, fans. In light of the recent situation, we have confirmed after contacting the cafe owner. The owner has apologized to Chenle and all his fans.
After checking the inventory, it was confirmed that approximately 90,000 KRW remained from the 500,000 KRW Chenle prepaid. After much discussion, we have decided on the following course of action.
The cafe will refund the 500,000 KRW rent fee for the cafe and refund the 500,000 KRW paid by Chenle. Regarding the 500,000 KRW paid by Chenle, we will confirm with him when we meet him at a fan sign to determine how he would like it to be processed, and then we will let you all know.
We apologize for any concern this incident may have caused to our fans. We will try our best to be more careful for future activities.”
However, fans were even more furious to find out that money was left over.

When I went, they said that the money Chenle had prepaid was used up… I was so disappointed because the cafe was decorated so nicely.
