BTS fans slammed the article.

Rolling Stone’s recent article about BLACKPINK has unexpectedly sparked heated debate online.

The column, which talks about BLACKPINK members eligibility for the upcoming GRAMMY Awards, triggered huge reactions after branding BLACKPINK as the biggest K-Pop group of all time.

Since BLACKPINK is (without doubt) the biggest K-Pop group in history, and has been for years, its members are ineligible for the category as solo acts.

However, the sentence has since been edited and updated after causing scathing reaction from BTS fans.

Though it once branded BLACKPINK as the “biggest K-Pop group” the article now says the YG Entertainment act is the “biggest K-Pop girl group.”

The change came only after the article faced heavy backlash from ARMYs.

However, the now-altered statement has also been support by many online. Viral posts with thousands of likes and retweets on X (formerly Twitter) agree with it, despite the controversy it caused.
