A viral video of BLACKPINK‘s OT4 version of Jennie‘s track “like JENNIE” has sparked major criticism.

BLACKPINK are in the midst of their DEADLINE tour.

During the performances, the members have been taking turns having the group perform their solo songs, whether it was “APT,” “FUTW,” or “earthquake.” On the recent show, they covered Jennie’s “Like JENNIE.”

While netizens praised Lisa for “fitting the vibes,” the video was hit with a wave of criticism when it came to Rosé and Jisoo. When the members did Jisoo’s “earthquake,” netizens tried to hit back at Jennie’s “lazy” dancing. However, fans defended the idol, explaining that Jennie was actually having fun and doing the backing dancers’ moves instead.

Considering the “hate” Jennie got, fans shared criticism that Rosé and Jisoo didn’t seem to know the dance properly, with many calling double standards.
