Popular TV Personality Reveals His Unexpected Retirement Plans

Popular TV personality Dex has revealed his retirement plans.

On May 23, a video on Kian84’s YouTube channel featuring Dex and Ji Ye Eun was posted. In the video, Kian invites them to go hiking.

During the hike, they also stopped to sit down and draw. While drawing, they asked how Dex was doing these days.

“I work hard, and my attitude towards work has changed. In the past, every day was difficult due to my changed life. The biggest thing I got criticized for was my shortest burnout.

I also related to Yoo Jae Suk’s words that ‘all work must be cut off’, and I think it’s a blessing that I’ve come this far. Now, I work with the mindset that it’s okay if I fail tomorrow.”

He then shared his detailed backup plans for what he would do if he left the industry.

Even if I fail tomorrow, I have something to do. I’m going to prepare to be a firefighter. I’ve set up a backup plan that allows me to leave the industry boldly, so this isn’t everything to me. That doesn’t mean I will work hard. I will pour everything I have into it so I don’t regret anything.

Regarding his thoughts on attending the Baeksang Arts Awards, he revealed how it felt to meet his favorite actor, Lee Byung Hun.

After the ceremony, I saw him get up, so I went over and held his hand tightly while looking into his eyes. Although I might have startled him, he looked at me with sincerity. I thought that this would be my only chance ever to meet him.
