Beloved “We Got Married” Couple Reunites, Goes On A “Date” 12 Years Later
It’s been more than a decade since they “got married” in front of viewers. Now, a popular We Got Married couple has surprised fans with a long-awaited reunion.
In 2014, actor Hong Jong Hyun and Girl’s Day‘s Yura became an on-screen married couple for episodes 223 to 262 of We Got Married. They went camping in an RV for their honeymoon, competed with each other in entertaining couple games, went on a trip to Jeungdo, and more during their “marriage.”
They also created quite a stir on the red carpet at the 2014 MBC Entertainment Awards!
On January 8, Yura’s YouTube channel, yurayurahae, released a new video featuring her “ex-husband” as a surprise guest. Fans had no idea Jong Hyun would make an appearance…
…and neither did Yura, thanks to her sneaky staff, who planned the video.
This video marks their first official reunion since their on-screen marriage ended. Other than that, the “couple” has only appeared together one other time, when Yura was a History Bites panelist and Jong Hyun was a guest.
In the video, Yura and Jong Hyun reminisce while recreating some of their We Got Married experiences on a date, such as their RV camping trip.
Their on-screen romance is over, but their chemistry is still as strong as ever!
