TXT‘s Taehyun has a tip for everyone who can’t make it home for the New Years but still wants to get that allowance!
Early this year, TXT guested on EBS Radio where they were asked about their plans for the Lunar New Year holiday. Soobin explained that, unfortunately, they won’t be able to stay at home with their families because of work.
To be honest, don’t the five of us all have the same New Years’ holiday plans? We all have something to film that day. I believe we have something to film for all three of those days. Let’s do well together.
Beomgyu then revealed that even if he can’t go home, he still makes it a point to take a video of himself bowing to send to his parents. Afterwards, he receives the much-coveted annual allowance!
Whenever it’s New Years, I always film myself bowing then send it. I need to receive an allowance from my parents.
That reminded Taehyun of something they used to tell each other before. Even if they’re physically apart, their hearts are still with each other.
We were actually talking about this before. We said, ‘Bodies separate but hearts close together.‘
He then gave a genius and hilarious tip for receiving allowance when they can’t meet in person! For those who bow to their parents through video calls, he recommended that they ask for it to be sent to their online bank accounts.
Do your bows through video calls, then get your allowance through bank account transfer.
It definitely beats waiting for the next time they meet or risking their parents forgetting altogether!
