3 New K-Pop Girl Groups With Members All Over 20 Years Old

One group’s member is either a ’95 or ’96 liner!

Throughout K-Pop’s history, many groups have debuted with members under 18 years old. While the cons of this have often been debated, many fans over 18 have expressed a desire for more new groups with adult members.

Here are three brand-new girl groups whose members are not only adults but all over the age of 20!

1. BEWAVE

GoldDust Entertainment‘s BEWAVE debuted on April 17, 2024 with “Sing.”

The group also boast an average height of 170 cm.

UNICODE comprises five Japanese members, two selected through an audition program and the others personally selected by member Sooah. Only two members’ birth years are officially known at this time through their profiles — Sooah was born in 1999, and Yura was born in 1995 or 1996 — but fans who have followed the idols shared they are all at least 20 years old and their pre-debut work histories support that.
