[★BREAKING] Infinite and B1A4 sexually molested backstage at SNL Korea

The female members of SNL Korea’s production team are being criticized for allegedly touching B1A4 and INFINITE inappropriately. 

On November 26th, a video emerged showing what appears to be the SNL Korea’s staff members sexually harassing members of B1A4. The female staff members were caught going towards the members and touching their crotch area.

Fans immediately discovered this was not the first time that sexual harassment of an idol group had occurred on SNL Korea. A video was found showing that the same thing had happened to group INFINITE back in October. In the video, member Dongwoo can be seen dropping to the floor in embarrassment.

While some assumed that the entire thing could have been a “prank” due to the nature of SNL Korea, the tag “#snl_성추행” or “SNL sexual harassment” made its way on top of Korea’s online portals. Fans have also used the tag on Twitter to ask the production team for an apology.

Fans immediately took to SNL’s Facebook Page demanding an answer. Below is a screenshot of one conversation and a translation:

Fans: Is it normal for the female crews to touch guests private parts?
SNL Staff: We didn’t actually touch it…ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Fan: Can you explain the actions with in this video?
Fan: Isn’t this sexual harassment, what happened in the video?
Staff: We’re sorry

Concerns were raised due to the inappropriateness of the act and the fact that it has occurred on different occasions. SNL released a statement on their Facebook page, profusely apologizing for the incident. The translation of their statement reads:

Hello this is SNL Korea.
We would like to apologize to the members of B1A4 and fans for our aggressive actions in the “Behind the casting of B1A4” video that was posted to Facebook on the 26th. The actions towards the hosts were inappropriate and we will make sure nothing like this happens again.

Fans were not buying the apology, with the top comment on the post reading:

“Are you not apologizing to INFINITE? I heard you did the same thing to them too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. It’s not 100% clear right now but there were other male guests last seasons (BLOCK B, Kim Min Suk) and shouldn’t the female crew members like Lee Sae Young who actually touched them apologize ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I can see their faces so I hope they come out and apologize. It’s not sexual harassment only when men touch women but when women touch men as well.”
