On April 19, G-Dragon posted a photo to his Instagram story featuring a cat holding a plush. The star actively updates his story, so this initially did not seem unusual.
However, upon closer examination, a netizen pointed out that the photo was linked to an unexpected group — NewJeans. The plush that the cat is holding onto is official merchandise from the group, the Bunini Costume Plush, which is sold as part of their Line Friends line.
G-Dragon’s social media activity has often attracted attention, like the multiple times he has liked posts by aespa‘s Karina.
Unfortunately, his social media activity has also created trouble for female idols, like the dating rumors sparked when he liked the posts of IVE‘s Wonyoung. The age gap between the two made this rumor all the more scandalous, but it was fortunately verified to be false.
