Controversy Erupts After ENHYPEN Members Are Spotted With Controversial Adult Hostess
ENHYPEN members were photographed with an adult hostess.
On April 15, Segye Ilbo reported that the idol was photographed with a famous Japanese hostess and cabaret club owner.
According to reports, the photo was taken at a Jewelry brand event. It is reported that the idols, who were invited to the event, took photos with the hostess, who was also invited.
Reports state that Japanese fans expressed discomfort with seeing a sex worker take photos with the idols. Some of the reported Japanese comments are translated below.

- “Even in Japan, we don’t encourage people to work as an adult hostess.”

HYBE has since responded to the controversy by stating that the idols first met the hostess at the event and simply took a photo with her.
In the case of brand events, the idols are asked to take photos with several of the other attendees. Oftentimes, we aren’t able to identify the people asking to take photos. Enhypen first met the person at the event. We weren’t able to identify the person as she was also an attendee invited to the event. We would like to let it be known that the photo was taken at the request of the attendee.
