After 18 Months Super Junior Is FINALLY making a comeback

On January 25, Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk posted on Instagram with news that Super Junior is making a comeback, possibly this year.

This news comes as a treat to fans who have been waiting almost 18 months for a comeback from the popular group. Leeteuk’s translated post reads:

“I am tired but right now I am preparing for a comeback this year. The preparations are difficult but I am working hard!!! ^^ #SuperJunior #SuJu #ThisYear #Finally #Comeback.. #InTheBack #It’sKwangSoo!!! #ㅋㅋㅋㅋ..” –Leeteuk

Super Junior has not released an album since Devil back in July 2015. Currently, there are 7 active Super Junior members (Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Yesung, Sungmin, Shindong, Kyuhyun) and 4 more members in the military (Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook). Eunhyuk’s tentative release date from the military is July 12, Donghae’s is July 14, and Siwon’s is August 18.

The ideal time for Super Junior to release their album would be the second half of this year, when the 3 members return from the military and before Kyuhyun enlists.
