In the interview, Guno spoke about the differences between K-Pop and J-Pop’s trainee systems. The idol goes on to state that K-Pop’s trainee system was much more strict and oftentimes inhumane.

There’s a difference in the way Korea and Japan train idols. Korea is too strict. Oftentimes, it is inhumane. One day, I wanted to buy a Coke at the convenience store, so I tried to sneak out by pretending to pick up trash with another trainee, but we ended up getting caught the next day and were punished.

The idol, who debuted in 2022, then spoke about striving to become a better artist and his appreciation for his Taiwanese fans.

I am not satisfied (with my career), the minute I am satisfied, I should no longer be an artist. Because I promote in Japan, it is difficult to connect with my Taiwanese fans, but thank you for your support.

— Guno

Meanwhile, Guno was a contestant on YG Entertainment’s survival contest to pick members for Treasure. The former trainee was also a contestant on tvN‘s Produce X 101.
