Rising Idol-Turned-Actress Rocks The Visible Underwear Trend In A See-Through Outfit
Some of the biggest fashion trends currently involve underwear, be it from not wearing them or them being purposely shown. The latter is called the visible underwear trend and has been tried out by several stars, including TWICE‘s Mina and Lee Hyori.
In 2012, the five-membered girl group Skarf debuted under Alpha Entertainment. After member changes, the group quietly disbanded in 2014.
The group was unique in that it included two members from Singapore, Tasha Low and Ferlyn G.
Tasha remained in the group until disbandment and stayed in Korea after appearing in music videos. After a pre-debut group did not come to fruition, she joined the cast of the survival show Idol School, which formed fromis_9.
After being eliminated from the show in episode 10, Tasha announced she would start a solo career under the name Yui Yeong. Upon her return to Singapore, she was cast in her first role and lead in the web series Cheerific, making her film debut in the 2020 comedy film The Diam Diam Era.
In 2023, she appeared in Oppa, Saranghae! alongside Ferlyn G. and was awarded the “Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes” award at the 2023 Star Awards.
It was at this year’s Star Awards that she joined the visible underwear trend!
In one of her two awards show looks, Tasha wore a white lace body suit that allowed her undergarments to be seen.
Her outfit featured white heels, and lace braided throughout her hair. Combined with her gold jewelry accents and glowy makeup, she literally literally looks heaven sent!
On top of looking gorgeous, Tasha was also awarded “Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes” for the second year in a row!
