She’s doing amazing!

Not only is Hello Joy’s first solo album, but it’s also a remake album! As a remake album, Joy remade and covered six songs that were released in the 90s and 2000s.

Since Hello is a remake album, Joy clarified that while she also has the desire to create her own songs, the songs within her solo album all hold a special place in her heart.

It’s not that I didn’t have any thoughts on wanting new songs. But regardless, this album has a special meaning. Just the idea of a ‘remake’ is special. I thought positively to myself that I should try my best to make the best remake album as possible.

Hello has become a huge success after its release and although Joy is doing great with her solo activities, she admitted promoting without her members is not as easy as she thought it would be.

This is my first time debuting with a solo album. What I had previously done as five members, I am doing alone now. It’s much more difficult than I thought it would be, so I try to text with my members often.

Despite the hardship, ReVeluvs (Red Velvet’s fans) agree that Joy and her album are both doing amazing!
