NCT 127 Shared Their Hopes For The Upcoming Album While Celebrating Their 5th Anniversary

Here’s what the members had to say about their highly-anticipated release!

In a recent YouTube upload, NCT 127 celebrated both eldest member Taeil‘s birthday and the group’s fifth anniversary since debut. The members shared some of their favorite memories, such as their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and even a potential UFO sighting, as well as some hardships they faced along the way.

As they discussed the growth of their fan base and how it’s been a year since their last album Neozone was released, Taeyong mentioned his hopes for the new project:

Our album that’s about to come out, I hope the longer we’ve kept [NCTzens] waiting, the greater this gift is to them.

Doyoung chimed in and mentioned that the group has “worked especially long on it to make it really good.

Yuta also shared his vision for NCT 127’s upcoming release, stating that he believes their new song will be “a song that says, ‘This is what our team will do!‘”

NCT 127’s upcoming album and repackage album were confirmed during SM Congress 2021 on June 29. During their celebratory “OFFICE : Foundation Day” Beyond Live event on July 7, they revealed the record will be released sometime in September.

While the exact details are yet to be released, NCTzens can rest assured that the members are working as hard as ever!
