“2022 MAMA AWARDS” To Take Place In Japan This November
They have rebranded in line with changes in the global music market.
The 2022 MAMA AWARDS will be held this year in Japan for two days in November. According to CN ENM, “We are rebranding Mnet ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS to MAMA AWARDS in line with changes in the global music market, such as the expansion of K-Pop’s influence from Asia to the world”.
They continued, “We will show the true value of K-Pop through expanding and evolving to become the world’s number one K-pop awards”. They hope to provide various experiences of K-Pop to the world through stages that can only be seen at the 2022 MAMA AWARDS. On the other hand, the event will take place on November 29-30 in Japan.
