All You Need To Know About “POPSTIVAL 2022,” The Upcoming Philippine Concert Featuring Mnet’s “Queendom” Artists And P-Pop Groups

It’s K-Pop meets P-Pop!

Filipino fans who love both K-Pop and P-Pop, this upcoming concert is for you!

On October 21, Neuwave Events & Productions will be bringing various Korean and Filipino groups to the SMDC Festival Grounds to share a stage for “POPSTIVAL 2022: K-POP MEETS P-POP.

With the goal of “celebrating POP in the country,” concert attendees will be treated to high quality performances from local talents as well as artists from Queendom, a popular survival program that aired on Mnet.

The lineup of the latter includes VIVIZ

LOONA

Park Bom

Hyolyn

…and Brave Girls.

The sole male Korean artist who will join them is rapper Be’O who is known for his stint on Mnet’s Show Me The Money 10.

Several P-Pop (Philippine Pop) artists will also perform on the 21st including Calista, Vxon, Lady Pipay, G22, Alamat, Press Hit Play, Kaia, and BINI.

The most awaited group among them is arguably P-Pop progenitors, SB19, who was added to the lineup on October 9. With over 10,000 likes on their dedicated tweet, their fandom was clearly excited about their appearance in the festival.

Member Felip (also known as SB19’s Ken) will take the stage as a solo act as well.

Besides the much-awaited P-Pop and K-Pop stages, fans can expect to see merch vendors, on-ground performers, a pre-show where prizes will be given away, fandom activities, and more. The organizers described it as a “one-day-fun-filled event with different exciting activities and performances.”

Three tiers of tickets can be purchased by interested concert-goers online through SM Tickets: VIP Wave (Php 7,000), Patron Pop (Php 4,000), and Gen. Ad (Php 1,000).

POPSTIVAL 2022 will begin at 10AM on October 21, Friday, with the K-Pop and P-Pop performances starting at 5PM. It will be held at the SMDC Festival Grounds, Parañaque City.
