Aside from those topics, they were also asked, “Does being on tour help you find more of the (G)I-DLE genre?” The members gave varied answers, with Soyeon saying she finds it fascinating that music has no barriers and Miyeon recalling their past visit to New York.

Meanwhile, Yuqi talked about the differences between fans during their concerts.

In her opinion, the responses vary depending on the country and culture. For example, she can already predict which parts of their songs Korean fans will react strongest to.

When I do the concerts, I receive a lot of different responses from our fans. Different countries have different cultures, as we know, so maybe when I do it in Korea, the Korean fans have certain kinds of responses for us.

In contrast, she noticed that American fans were more excited for completely different parts of the same songs. She was surprised to see their reactions.

But when we do this in America, I can get to a part like, ‘Oh, they are more excited about this part.’

Finally, witnessing the varied responses of fans from all over the world has helped her make her performances more enjoyable for those watching. She was able to better understand what areas she can improve on to become a better performer.

So I can get inspiration actually to make my music more fun and have more of those ‘killing’ parts,” she explained.

In the same interview, maknae Shuhua opened up about what it was like receiving more lines in their song “Nxde” than typical. Read her answer in the article below.
