NCT's Renjun And Kep1er's Xiaoting Leave Fans Shook By Their Friendship At The "2022 KBS K-Pop Festival"

Despite the chaos of so many groups attending the 2022 KBS K-Pop Festival (also known as the KBS Gayo Daechukje), eagle-eyed fans spotted a friendly interaction between Kep1er‘s Xiaoting and NCT‘s Renjun.

While many of the groups were standing on the festival stage, including NCT, the members of Kep1er passed by to return to their spots. That’s when Renjun and Xiaoting spotted each other.

Although Xiaoting’s back was turned to the camera, hiding her reaction, fans saw Renjun smile as if he was greeting a friend.

Despite how quickly the moment passed between the two idols, fans couldn’t help wondering when they’d become friends.

But it all makes sense when considering Renjun is friends with other Chinese-speaking K-Pop idols like SEVENTEEN‘s The8 and Jun, former Taiwanese Wanna One member Lai Guanlin, and possibly PENTAGON‘s Yanan. In fact, aespa‘s NingNing confirmed there’s a big group chat for all the Chinese idols in the K-Pop industry.
