LE SSERAFIM Might Just Have The Most Evenly Divided Gender Demographics Among Their Fans

Their fan age demographics are also interesting!

Different K-Pop artists appeal to different kinds of fans for varying reasons — not every girl group has the same ratio of male to female fans, and the same goes for boy groups too. It seems that the types of concepts that artists tend to gravitate towards can have a big impact on their fanbase demographics, and recently, some interesting data was released about the fanbase of LE SSERAFIM.

According to this data, LE SSERAFIM has what some might consider a surprisingly even divide between male and female fans. While 44.2% of the people that attended their fan meeting were men, 55.8% were women, making for a near 50-50 split.

In general, male K-Pop groups tend to have more female fans while girl groups tend to have more male fans, though this is certainly not always the case. In fact, we took a look last year at the massively different gender demographics for over 25 popular girl groups based on album sales.

The topic of LE SSERAFIM’s fan demographics was recently shared on an online forum, where netizens expressed their interest and happiness that the talented girl group is able to keep such an evenly divided fanbase.

It will be interesting to see how this changes (or not) the longer that LE SSERAFIM is in the K-Pop industry!
