Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea breaks up with YG producer boyfriend, P.K

After nearly four years together, it has been reported that Brown Eyed Girls‘ Jea and YG Entertainment producer P.K, also known as Choi Pil Kang, are no longer together.

According to reports, the two have decided to part ways as a couple, however, maintaining their relationship as musical colleagues. The two had naturally drifted apart, resulting in their breakup.

The two were revealed to be in a relationship in November 2013 and has been dating ever since.

Jea debuted with Brown Eyed Girls in 2006, and has since become recognized for her vocal talents. Earlier this year, she became one of the mentors in the Mnet show Produce 101 as a vocal mentor.

P.K debuted in 2007 as part of the group Happy Face. He has since then become an active producer under YG Entertainment under the team, Future Bounce.

Rolling Stone drops a new list titled “10 New Artists You Need to Know: September 2016,” naming YG Entertainment‘s BLACKPINK as one of the hottest artists this month.

Published on September 15th (KST), Rolling Stone describes BLACKPINK’s music as “A perfect marriage of K-pop and A-town trap,” and recommends the girl group to those who are fans of 2NE1, CL, Ariana Grande, and the “harder moments” of Fifth Harmony.

They further describe the rigorous training process each of the members underwent, ranging from between four to six years. Member Jisoo was quoted saying, “I couldn’t believe it; it was such a long awaited debut that it was hard to tell if it was all a dream or not. However, once we did debut I also felt a sort of emptiness in my heart thinking that I’ve reached my goals. But now I have even bigger dreams to fill that emptiness. We’ve accomplished the first step by debuting, but I’d also like to achieve other bigger goals soon.”

The group then names Yang Hyun Suk as the mind behind their name, adding that it represents their two strong features: strong performers on stage but their natural selves off stage, just as black and pink are two contrasting colors.

BLACKPINK has become quite a successful rookie group, seeing positive results despite only having debuted a little over a month ago, acquiring three music show trophies for their title track “Whistle.” They are already working on their next album release.

With the Idol Star Athletics Championship currently airing, MBC has teased fans with some beautiful photos of some its male idol athletes!

The Idol Star Athletics Championship (hereby known as ISAC) has become a favorite for K-Pop fans to experience multiple groups interacting with one another which isn’t often seen in a regular music show setting. In addition, fans can reel in the excitement of seeing ones favorite idol in a sporty setting as they undergo several different types of competition.

In some of the photos shared by MBC, these idols’ visuals are handsomely captured as they show their utmost focus during their event and support for their teammates.

ISAC aired on September 15th and 16th over the Chuseok holiday, stretching its original one episode to two.
