“Single’s Inferno 4” Panel Sparks Heated Debate With Recent Comments About Male Contestant’s Behavior
Along with the contestants, one of the biggest parts of Single’s Inferno is the panel, consisting of Hong Jin Kyung, Lee Da Hee, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex.
Yet, one clip of the panelists’ comments has netizens divided.
In the recent episode, Jeong Su was talking to Si An about his date with the new girl while still seemingly showing “interest” in her. When speaking about their time, Jeong Su said, “It was a short chat,” seemingly waving off any ability to speak about what happened.
At first, the panelists seem shocked by Jeong Su’s response, calling him a “Liar.” Kyuhyun and Hanhae seemingly tried to defend the contestant by explaining that Jeong Su couldn’t say his true feelings to Si An.
While Da Hee agreed in some way, she thought Jeong Su was being “pathetic.”
Even though Dex didn’t like the remarks Jeong Su made, while Kyuhyun tried to defend his actions, Dex looked at body language.
Some of the panel then shared that Jeong Su shouldn’t have lied.
But Kyuhyun hit back and defended Jeong Su’s actions.
When the video was posted, netizens expressed their appreciation to Da Hee and Dex and attacked the other panelists’ views. In particular, they found double standards in judging the contestants, with the women being judged more harshly than the men.
