Starship Hit With Criticism After Announcing Artist Plans For 2025
Kakao Entertainment has announced its plans for artist debut and comebacks this year.
Starship Entertainment recently revealed the debut plan for the upcoming girl group KiiiKiii, their first girl group to debut since IVE in 2021.

They divided the releases into quarters, with K.Will, MONSTA X, and IVE in quarter one, WJSN and CRAVITY in quarter two, and KiiiKiii in quarter three. They plan to maintain the artist’s color while actively promoting both domestically and globally.

“We will focus on securing mega IPs with global influence by working with various partners and enhancing the multi-label system.
Through this, we plan to continuously discover new artists and diversify the global activities of our existing artists to build a more solid global fandom.”

However, netizens felt that they were being inefficient in their planning.

- “I guess they are trying to promote the new group.”
- “If they don’t want to get criticized, they must do well in quarter one.”
- “Shouldn’t one group from quarter one move to quarter three? Quarter one looks packed.”
- “Quarter one is crazy.”
- “Legendary inefficiency.”
