5 K-Dramas Viewers Regret Watching To The Last Episode In February
If you’re going to spend hours of your life watching a K-Drama, the series had better be worth it, right? On Reddit, viewers were asked to name the K-Dramas they most regretted watching this month until the final credits rolled. Here are 5 of them.
1. When the Stars Gossip
This all-star Netflix series is a science fiction romance starring Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, and more. A fateful encounter between an astronaut and a space tourist on a space station leads to love. What began as a promising show with a stacked cast has now been dubbed “the worst K-Drama ever” by some viewers.

From sex scenes to plot twists, When the Stars Gossip received plenty of criticism while airing. In particular, a heartbreaking twist in the finale had some viewers ready to throw this series into a black hole.

The last episode was just stupid and silly! From the fast-paced nonsense to whatever the scriptwriter wrote! Except for the cute baby, nothing makes sense! 🚮…I’m angry af!!#WhenTheStarsGossipEp16 #WhenTheStarsGossip #방탄소년단진pic.twitter.com/bVTXUNMvGu

2. Iron Family
Many K-Dramas these days are between 8 and 16 episodes, but Iron Family isn’t one of them. This 36-episode series tells the story of a family, who stashed away millions of dollars, and the owner of that money, who is searching for it. Caught in the middle of all this is Da Rim, a visually-impaired member of the treasure-stashing family, and Gang Ju, the son of the owner.

Some viewers who watched the entire series felt that the characters weren’t explored as well as they could have been, considering the number of episodes.

3. Love Scout
This SBS romance stars Han Ji Min, Lee Joon Hyuk, Kim Do Hoon, and Kim Yoon Hye. In this tender love story, Han Ji Min plays the CEO of a headhunter company, who falls for her affectionate secretary (Lee Joon Hyuk).

Some viewers who had high hopes for the series felt let down by the main couple’s romance.

5. When the Phone Rings
When the Phone Rings is a 2024 Netflix romance thriller about a couple who married for convenience. Their lives begin to spiral after a kidnapper’s threatening phone call.

Unfortunately, When the Phone Ring has frequently been named as a K-Drama that viewers regret finishing. Some viewers who finished watching the show in February weren’t happy with the plot’s direction and would have preferred it if more screen time had been spent fleshing out the main couple and their couple’s relationship.
