Moon Ga Young’s “Must Watch” Romance K-Drama Hits All-Time High Viewership Ratings
TVN‘s latest romance, K-Drama My Dearest Nemesis, is gaining significant traction among Korean viewers! The show’s popularity continues to rise, with episode 5 achieving its highest ratings yet.

According to Nielsen Korea, the episode recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent, marking an impressive 0.8 percent increase from the previous episode’s 4.1 percent — which already stunned netizens.

The ratings come as no surprise to those who tuned in for this week’s episode, as the segment brought major developments in the evolving relationship between Baek Sujeong (played by Moon Ga Young) and Ban Juyeon (portrayed by Choi Hyun Wook).

After receiving an urgent call from Seo Hajin about a mysterious “black dragon” at the store, Sujeong left in a hurry with Juyeon. Their unexpected escape led to a close encounter in a narrow alley, adding tension between the two. Later, Juyeon waited with Sujeong at her bus stop, further showcasing his growing affection for her.
Meanwhile, Hajin was taken aback when she discovered that Juyeon himself was the “black dragon” Sujeong had mentioned. Concerned about their deepening bond without knowing each other’s true identities, she confided in Kim Shinwon, revealing that Sujeong was actually Juyeon’s childhood first love, “Strawberry.” Despite their attempts to prevent the two from getting closer, their interference only resulted in humorous misunderstandings.
“your first love.. how did he look like? so we can avoid him.”

Rumors soon spread after Sujeong was seen with Shinwon, sparking jealousy in Juyeon. In response, he later appeared at her home, playfully gifting her a comic book about avoiding playboys. Their growing connection was further explored during a business trip, where they spent the night at a ranch, sharing drinks and reminiscing about first loves. However, when Sujeong casually brushed off Juyeon as nothing more than a younger brother, he was visibly disheartened.
The episode ended on an intense note when Juyeon, frustrated by her words, kissed Sujeong and asked, “Do you still not see me as a man?“— leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next episode.
