EVERGLOW’s Sihyeon Bluntly Speaks On “Disbandment” After Leaving YueHua Entertainment
Fans were left shocked after news broke that all members of EVERGLOW would be parting ways with Yuehua Entertainment.

While many were still trying to process the possible end of the group’s journey, member Sihyeon took to TikTok Live to speak directly to fans, calmly addressing the news and offering a rare glimpse into how the members feel.

Earlier today, reports came out that all EVERGLOW members have chosen not to renew their contracts with Yuehua Entertainment. The company reportedly agreed with the members’ decision, concluding that it would be difficult to continue promoting the group under current circumstances.
Yuehua has since confirmed the report through an official statement on EVERGLOW’s fancafe.
Soon after the latest news surfaced, Sihyeon surprised fans by going live on TikTok while casually eating dinner. When asked about the group’s future, she shared her and the other members’ plans.
We don’t have any thoughts… we don’t think about disbanding EVERGLOW. [We’re] just… Yeah, leaving the company guys.
— EVERGLOW’s Sihyeon
The EVERGLOW star also spoke about how fans wanted them to leave the company, following concerning news months ago.
Of course, [we] will still stay a group. All the members think [the] same thing. Every fan wants [us to] leave YueHua, isn’t it?

Debuting in March 2019, EVERGLOW made a strong impact with powerful performances and an international fanbase. However, their group activities slowed down significantly after a 2022 hiatus. Although they returned with new singles in 2023 and 2024 and toured in Europe and North America, fans had grown concerned about the group’s future.
The uncertainty deepened when member Yiren revealed earlier this year that she had not received payment in six years—a claim that sparked public backlash and led to a response from Yuehua’s CEO.

Sihyeon’s words reassured many fans who feared this might mark the end of EVERGLOW altogether. Despite the contract termination, Sihyeon emphasized that the group intends to remain united.
