Former HYBE Singer Under Fire After Commenting On Ex-LE SSERAFIM Garam’s Post
Recently, Kim Garam returned to online activities.

Garam had a short-lived idol as a member of LE SSERAFIM, which was marred by accusations of school bullying. This led to her departure from the group and HYBE and almost entirely out of the spotlight, besides occasional updates.

On May 17, Garam seemingly took a step towards returning to the public with a new post on her Instagram account. The post included several images of the former idol and currently has over 37 thousand likes.

While many have celebrated her return, a comment on the post from another past HYBE trainee has earned surprisingly negative reactions.
In 2020, the survival show I-LAND showed the process of selecting the members of ENHYPEN.

Trainee Daniel made it to the final twelve, but was eliminated and did not make the final line-up. He presumably left Pledis in 2023, before debuting as a solo artist in 2025 under the name Kyu.

Fans noticed that Daniel left a comment on Garam’s post, simply saying hi with a heart emoticon.

While some were excited over the interaction, many reacted with criticism towards Daniel, accusing him of trying to use Garam to get attention.

Many came to his defense, however, reasoning that the two likely became friends while both being HYBE trainees.
QRTs are going too far, like, he and Garam trained under the same company so they may know each other and all he did was say hi, it’s not that deep istg 😭 https://t.co/aWxrB1olpv

you don't like a simple idea of people being friends and you expect idols to interact more with each other……. these two are not even idols mind you and im sure they've known each other for years, probably were trainees around the same time a https://t.co/hOy29ReR5s
