Netflix dropped the trailer for a new, animated K-Pop movie, and let’s just say…
…bad never looked so good!
KPop Demon Hunters follows a three-member girl group that sings by day and slays demons by night. Rumi (voiced by Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji Young Yoo) must take down a group of demons disguised as a rival boy group to protect their fans’ souls. The leader of the boy group, Jinu, is voiced by actor Ahn Hyo Seop. The film also features the song “Takedown,” sung by TWICE‘s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyeon.
The first part of the Saja Boys‘ name, saja, is the Korean word for “lion,” but it’s also a play on the Korean Grim Reaper, Jeoseung Saja. They might be evil, but the temptation to stan them is very strong. Some netizens have already chosen their bias…
