Yet Another Idol Calls Out A Big Planet Made Subsidiary For Unilaterally Kicking Him Out Of Company
Yong Junhyung is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with his agency, BLACK MADE.
On June 21, 2025, the singer took to his personal channel to expose ongoing tensions with the label.
“On the day my album was released last year, they suddenly called me in and said they needed to dissolve the label due to expanding business ventures. They claimed they would terminate the contract without any conditions. I said I was confused and couldn’t understand, and then they suddenly changed their stance and said, ‘Let’s work things out.’”
Yong Junhyung continued to criticize the label for unilaterally kicking him out. They also demanded him pay them for investments, claiming that he breached clauses.
“Then, just a month or two later, they unilaterally told me to leave the company. On top of that, they demanded I pay back money that had been invested by a distributor I never agreed to, and cover losses they calculated on their own. They cited various clauses from the contract, but I’ve never breached any terms. Now they’re asking me to pay billions of won based on their own calculations and just leave. I can’t accept this. I asked them to fulfill the management duties outlined in the contract until the end, but they’ve gone radio silent multiple times. So who’s really violating the contract here?”

Yong Junhyung founded BLACK MADE in October 2022 as an independent label. BLACK MADE is known to be a subsidiary label under Big Planet Made Entertainment, which was co-founded by Chairman Cha Ga Won and MC Mong.
This revelation comes as Big Planet Made’s other subsidiary ONE HUNDRED is also facing conflict with another artist — THE BOYZ’s Ju Haknyeon, over his contract termination following personal controversies. Ju Haknyeon has also claimed that the company attempted to kick him out unilaterally. With Yong Junhyung now stepping forward with his own agency dispute, all eyes are on how BLACK MADE will respond.
Ju Haknyeon Calls Out Agency Claiming He Never Left The Group
Yong Junhyung is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and producer best known as a former member of the boy group Highlight (formerly BEAST). Celebrated for his songwriting and production abilities, he was behind many of the group’s most successful hits and later gained recognition as a solo artist. However, his career faced a major setback in 2019 when he admitted to watching illicit videos shared by singer Jung Joon-young and subsequently left Highlight amid public backlash during the Burning Sun scandal.
