“Clocked His Hair Transplant” — SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan “Exposing” Mingyu Goes Viral

Recently, SEVENTEEN appeared on Buzzfeed’s “Thirst Tweet” series, much to the fans’ surprise. Usually, idol groups do not appear in this program, and they generally prefer to participate in the “Puppy” series.

The tweets began pretty mild like most of the episodes do, but still managed to surprise the members, who also seemed delighted to say f*ck on camera. Especially Seungkwan, who shared it was the first time he did so.

A bit later in the video, a tweet for Mingyu praised a number of different aspects about the idol without becoming too vulgar. However, many couldn’t help but notice Seungkwan’s reaction to a particular part of the tweet.

When Mingyu began reading, the first portion of the tweet remarked that he had a “perfect hairline,” to which Seungkwan suppressed a laugh at.

After he finished, he asked if the members agreed. Seungkwan then asked if everything was “natural,” repeating the question twice and leading Mingyu to tell him to “shut the f*ck” up.

This moment was reposted on X, where it went viral as netizens took in the moment and the context.

Earlier in his career, Mingyu’s hairline featured a widow’s peak and after a few years of promoting, the idol’s hairline changed to being straighter. This fueled rumors that the idol had some sort of surgery, usually a hair transplant to fill the parts of his hairline that did not originally have hair.

Many have found Seungkwan’s reaction to be humorous, commenting so on the tweet.

Regardless of what he has or hasn’t had done, Mingyu is gorgeous!
