Controversy Surrounding “Boys II Planet” Contestant Exposed Ahead Of Show Premiere
A controversial post exposing contestant “A”, who is appearing on Mnet’s boy group survival program, Boys II Planet, has gone viral online.

The social media post claimed that “A,” a trainee at “B” Entertainment, was favored by high-ranking employees and used this to his advantage to ignore or be rude to them. They also claimed that “A” skipped dance lessons with the rookie development team leader and headquarters manager to go out drinking or travel to Japan, and there were rumors that he embezzled public funds during this process.
They also revealed that the nickname trainees called “A” was the “King of ‘B’ Entertainment.”
‘A’ recognized the favoritism and used it to his advantage, ignoring some employees while enjoying his comfortable company life. He even treated them rudely, as if they were his subordinates.
Regarding the post, media outlet Ilgan Sports contacted Mnet but didn’t receive a specific position on the matter.
Netizens, although shocked, agreed that the show would probably still air regardless of the controversy.

- “A news article has been written about it.”
- “Wow, even a news article has been posted.”
- “They didn’t give any specific position on the new matter?”
- “To think that the contestant in question is the K center…they’re probably going to confirm who it is but still air the show regardless…”
Meanwhile, the show is set to premiere on July 17 at 9:20 PM KST for Boys II Planet K and on July 18 at 9:20 PM KST for Boys II Planet C.
